Is my identity completely anonymous on TalkToListeners?
Yes, 100%. Customers do not create public profiles and are never asked to share their real name, phone number, or personal details with listeners. You interact protected by a display name or pseudonym chosen by you.
Are conversations get recorded or monitored?
Audio and video calls are never recorded. Text chats are encrypted and processed in real-time by a strict AI moderation system to detect abuse or inciting speech. The encrypted log is kept for 14–30 days exclusively for resolving disputes and is then permanently deleted.
Can I switch from Chat to Audio or Video Call during a session?
Absolutely. You can start with a text chat and request to switch to an audio or video call at any time using the controls in the header of the active camera, provided that the listener offers those communication channels.
🪙 Tokens & Plugs
How does the token system work?
Instead of processing micro-transactions minute by minute, you can purchase token packages in advance through Stripe. Tokens are deducted minute by minute while you're in an active session with a listener, based on the per-minute rate set by them.
What happens if my token balance runs out during a chat?
Our system sends a discreet notification when your balance is low (for example, when you have 2 minutes left). If the balance reaches zero, the active call will be safely disconnected, giving you the option to recharge on the spot or end the session without any fees or unexpected account overdrafts.

How do the earning levels (tiers) work for listeners?
We operate a transparent revenue-sharing model based on levels: T0 (Trial hours to attract your first clients), T1 (Beginner – 50% commission), T2 (Pro – 60% commission), and T3 (Expert – 70% commission). As your active hours, positive reviews, and activity on the platform increase, your share of earnings automatically increases.
Why is Identity Verification (KYC) mandatory for listeners?
To ensure a safe and high-trust environment for our clients, each listener must go through the identity verification process (KYC). This prevents fraud, ensures accountability, and unlocks the possibility of receiving payments (payouts).
When and how do I receive my winnings?
Tokens earned accumulate in your Listener Wallet. You can request withdrawals directly to your bank account or your Wise account according to our standard weekly or instant payment program through supported payment channels.
